VIZHITHEZHU & WE CAN – I CAN

ESOINDIA has been organizing awareness programmes to benefit society
regularly for the past 15 years.
For the forthcoming Republic Day, ESOINDIA has organized a series of events.

There will be an essay competition on the theme “We can. I can”. This
is the tag line for World Cancer Day. School students, College students
and the General public can write an essay not exceeding one page and
send to info@esoindia.org or post to ESOINDIA head office at the
following address: First floor, Brooklyn centre, 103, Poonamalle High Road, Chennai – 600084 before 10th January 2019.

The winners will be announced at a grand function to be held at
Kalaivanar Arangam on Sunday, 27th January, 2019.
The winners in each
category will get an opportunity to speak during the programme in which
philanthropists and celebrities are participating.

The second highlight of the event is the launch of an awareness
movement “Wake-up” (Vizhithezhu).

The aim of this is to organise
regular awareness programmes in all areas – Urban, Semi-urban and
Rural, about healthy living, cancer prevention and suicide prevention.
This will be done with the help of Schools, Colleges, General public
